These conflicts often involve ‘throw away’ comments simply designed to upset or offend the other person with no consideration of the long lasting effect their choice of words could have. This assembly looks at why as humans we are quick to use negative or derogatory words and looks at the lasting damage these exchanges can have. It then goes onto look at the way using positive words and language can have a huge bearings on us personally and those around us.
